A cluster of adult paper wasps guarding an open‑comb nest under the eave beside a residential window in Little Elm, Texas in late September. Nests near windows and doors raise stinging risk and can expand quickly if ignored. Professional removal and targeted treatments around eaves and window frames are recommended to prevent recurrence.
