A large cicada killer wasp was identified on a concrete driveway in Craig Ranch, McKinney during late June. While generally non-aggressive, their burrows can disturb lawns and the sting is painful if provoked. Professional wasp control is recommended to reduce nesting near walkways and high‑traffic areas.
