This photo shows a yellow garden spider resting in the middle of a large orb web stretched across a wooden fence in Celina. The zigzag band of silk below the spider is a classic sign of this species, which is common along sunny fence lines in fall. Our tech inspected the fence line and handled the spider and web during the visit.
