During a visit to a home in McKinney, our tech found a white-lined sphinx moth resting on the concrete along the foundation. This large moth is recognizable by its striped wings and pink hindwings, and its caterpillars are hornworms that feed on garden plants. The tech noted the sighting while inspecting the foundation perimeter, where outdoor lighting in the fall often draws moths and other insects close to the house.
