Galvanized metal flashing screwed and sealed over a gap where white siding meets a gray shingle roof, closing a rodent entry point at the roofline.

At this Allen home, our tech covered an open gap where the siding box meets the shingle roof with custom cut galvanized metal flashing, fastened with screws and sealed along every seam. Openings at the roofline like this one give mice and rats a hidden path straight into the attic, especially as they look for warmth in the fall. With the flashing in place, that entry point is now closed off.
