This photo from a home in Princeton, TX shows a mourning dove sitting on a twig nest built on the brick ledge beside a window frame. Because mourning doves are a protected species, the active nest was left in place while our tech inspected the ledge and recommended exclusion steps to keep birds from nesting there once the nest is no longer in use.
