Close up of a black widow spider with a red hourglass marking wrapping a captured grasshopper in web along a home's concrete foundation in Princeton, TX.

Our tech found a black widow spider, red hourglass marking visible, wrapping up a grasshopper in its web along the foundation of a Princeton home. Black widows favor sheltered, undisturbed spots near ground level, so we treated the foundation perimeter and removed the webs to help keep them away from the house.
