Ant colony trailing up a wall by a fence post in McKinney

A large number of ants swarming over a loose soil mound at the base of a wooden fence post and trailing up a textured gray wall, with a metal downspout and dry grass nearby.

At this McKinney home, ants had built a loose soil mound in the corner between a wooden fence post and the wall, with a heavy trail of ants climbing the brick. Our tech inspected the colony and treated the mound and the surrounding trail area to knock back the activity before the ants could move inside.
