This photo shows the base of a garage door frame at a McKinney home after we covered it with galvanized metal flashing and sealed the edges to the wood and the concrete slab. The bottom of a wooden door jamb often has gaps and soft spots where mice, rats and insects can squeeze or chew their way into the garage. The metal and sealant close that opening off for good, along with a matching panel installed behind the door track.
