This photo shows an open weep hole in the exterior brick wall near the foundation of an Allen home. Weep holes are built in to drain moisture and vent the wall, but when left uncovered they give mice, roaches, and wasps an easy path inside. We recommend a weep hole guard that keeps drainage and airflow working while sealing out pests.
